There was an interview on CNN with his girlfriend Rachel Jeantel this morning; she said they thought Zimmerman was a "gay rapist" (presumably in addition to being a "creepy cracker") and was after Trayvon for sexual purposes. One could say the evidence suggests that Martin confronted Zimmerman who made the very stupid move of getting out of his car, which makes Trayvon the instigator.
Whether you interpret this as evidence of Zimmerman's guilt doesn't matter at this point since he has been set free ... As was Caylee Anthony and OJ Simpson (until the latter made his own stupid choices and went to prison as a result). The legal system worked the way it was supposed to in all these cases; lack of convincing evidence means you go free. That's why we have jury trials instead of lynch mobs. If living in fear for the rest of your life waiting for someone to settle scores is being free.
