1 hour and 45 minutes to go 12 miles. Total lack of snow plows out this evening. The economy rears it's ugly head again.

That is how I felt when I came outside and saw all the snow!

And on top of it, my car's brakes are not working right!

Scary!!

it took me an hour and 45 minutes to get from Addison/Kilbourn to Bryn Mawr/Broadway. i did have to stop off at the post office by Lawrence, so i got off the L then hopped on the B'Way bus, which was a total nightmare.

Ouch, that has to be a lousy commute even on a good day.

3 miles 1 1/2 hour on a bus driven by someone who didn't have a clue how to drive a bus. Insane. I gave up and walked for a good part of it.

If I was working in Chicago I'd monitor the weather forecast and maybe ask my employer if I can work at home that day by bringing home work!

Oh yeah, that too. The wipers failed as I was driving.
Good thing everyone was going slow
