I agree that both sides are guilty. The problem is that many Christians are siding with Israel for all the wrong reasons, and calling it "holy" and "good."

Of course, they aren't willing to go do the bombing themselves. I wonder why... But, they are willing to give their money to the cause. In Jesus' name...

I guess it can be summed up like this:

If you want to tell me about God, and truth, and righteousness, and holiness.... and then tell me that it's right to kill and oppress other nations so that Jesus can come back.. then I want nothing to do with it. Period.

That's why it bothers me. If it were unbelievers talking about killing others and bombing Iran, I wouldn't personally be very surprised.

But when it's people who say "thank you Jesus" and "God is Love" who are telling people that the US should bomb Iran, it's too much. The hypocrisy is just so obvious, it's amazing that people are fooled by it.

Maybe that's why we read that "my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."

All people will stand before God and be judged on Judgement day. No one "get's out of it" but if you believe that Jesus is the Son of God, walk in His Spirit and obey his commandments in your life, then you are saved - both from living a pointless life on Earth and from eternal Hell. If you are saved now, you will be saved then. So there is no reason to want to "get out of judgement" because if the above is true of you, you will have a joy and privilege to hear "well done my good and faithful servant" from God about you - what could be better?! Heaven, I guess, lol. Which is what would come after your approval by Father God.
