We are not to continue to walk in sin, we are to repent of our wrongs and do good while we live so that we may store up for ourselves treasures in heaven.
Salvation comes by Repentance with a willful intent to change for the better, we must learn from our mistakes and do good.
We all reap what we sow, if we do not become sanctified then we will continue to reincarnate. If our sin in each life begins to overflow within us then we are tossed into the void never to exists again, yet if we become sanctified we move onto paradise and cease to incarnate.
God is righteous and judges us for the wrongs we commit, an evil person shall not enter into paradise for outside it are the sinners.
Narrow is the Way to Life and Few shall ever find it,
but
Broad is the Way to Destruction and many enter into it.
So broad are the gates of the Free Grace doctrine and many will perish because of it's heresy that has lasted generations.
But Narrow is the Way of one who walks with the Lord, Narrow indeed is the Way of the Law.
For Christ did not come to die but to teach us the way to our Lord.
Submit to God and do good, therefore have mercy upon others and forgive others for if you do not do this how can you expect god to forgive you or have mercy upon you.
But
Do not misunderstand the Law is not written on paper but is instead preserved in our hearts, all we must do is ask, seek, knock, and we will find it.

Salvation came by Christ, period. We have nothing to do with being saved. Sanctification comes from repentance. Sanctification comes from following Christ's commands to His disciples to "love God and each other" daily and repent when we don't.

Jesus can show you the door, but you are the one who must open it and allow wisdom to rule your life.
Jesus taught us the path to salvation but he himself is not our salvation. God asks that we do good so that we may move onto paradise.
We must love god with all our heart, and love all others and our-selves. Once we do that following the Law preserved in our hearts becomes second nature.
We should be Open Minded but firm in our Faith.
It is by showing mercy on others and forgiving others that we are forgiven.
By the fruit of our ways god will know us, and we will be judged based on our fruit.
God gave us free will to do good or bad, and we can become saved by choosing to do good, "for each man shall die for their own sin." It is a spiritual death and not a physical one of which it speaks.

Free grace? I recall the Son of God dieing on the cross and being resurrected from the dead to give us that grace. Jesus accomplished salvation for us. Our part is the best part and that is to receive what Christ has already accomplished. Doing good will not save you. Being born again saves you and one becomes born again when they put their trust in Jesus and His finished work. Right living is a fruit of right believing. Cain brought his good works to God and He rejected Cain's offering. Abel brought the sacrifice to God and He accepted Abel's offering and had favor for Abel. This shows how today religion and right doing teaching comes against grace and the receiving of salvation by the finished work of Christ. Cain thought he was doing good by bringing his works to God but it availed to nothing.
When you believe right about God you will live right. You will never be born again by doing right. You are born again when you believe Jesus died for your sins, a finished work.

We speak of the same end result, Azrael . . . "love God and each other" daily and repent when we don't . . . but we give it different names. You think the end result of our efforts is salvation . . . but that was never up to us. That is what Christ achieved and none of us are capable of it. I call the end result of our efforts sanctification because that is what we ARE capable of under Christ's love and guidance.
The goal is similar but our beliefs are different.
One may 'believe' that they can 'work their way into God's kingdom', but, that does not make it so. What are you using as the foundation for 'your belief?' - The Bible makes it pretty clear that there is 'no other way' to God, than by faith in Jesus Christ. This is by 'God's Grace' alone and there is nothing ‘free’ about the atoning death of Christ on the cross on our behalf!
This, of course, does not preclude the merit of works, repentance, a search for righteousness ... or of trying to keep God's laws in our heart and lives, but, putting those things ahead of Christ, gets things backwards.

Please clarify: Are you suggesting Jesus died as a propitiation--satisfying the wrath of God? Or are you suggesting he merely came to show us the way to get to God?
Christ is our Messiah, Brother, and King.
But he is not god.
Jesus showed us the right way to live that our eyes might be opened so that we can awaken to the mind of god and achive enlightenment.
Jesus did not come as a sacrifice but he came to show us the Narrow Way.
He came to show us how to be good and get salvation.
By gods authority Christ and his followers can forgive people of their sins.
The only thing god asks for in return for mercy is that we be merciful ourselves and that we are forgiving.
