I am glad you agree with the concept of confession. You are making significant progress.
I don't know what "public humiliation" has to do with confessing our sins to one another as scripture commands . I guess it's a Roman church thing. What Progress? I have known this for years. It is a core teaching in Christianity. Perhaps you could have the pope call one of us and we could explain it to him.

I congratulate you. It must have been a HUGE step to go forward and admit the benefits of confession. I will rep you.
Again, it is something I have always accepted. It's just a basic Christian doctrine. We are told to confess our sin's to one another.
Many Sola Scriptura repeat the phrase that "we must only go to God to confess our sins". You are a breath of fresh air. It must be real lonely to not be able to verbalize turmoil to others.

Who are these "Sola Scriptura" you keep bringing up? What do they have to do with our discussion. Can you answer this please?
You are not Sola Scriptura????? Sorry, I thought you were a Sola Scriptura Christian.
You seem to be the one in love with that term. I have never used it in my life. But if you love it then explain what you mean by it when you call someone by that name you like so much.

It is a belief system that states Scriptures is all that is needed to know the Lord.

Really! I thought most believed there was a personal aspect to knowing the Lord.
I do wonder why you think you have the right to call people names when you do not know them or their faith? You seem to like calling people things you think is putting them down and below you somehow. You are a mean person and very un-Christlike. Why do you choose to be that way? Is that a Roman thing?
