How can there be a rapture when the Bible at 1st Thess.chapter 4 is talking about: resurrection.

Doesn't 1st Cor. 15:50 say ' flesh ' ( physical) can Not inherit the kingdom ?_______

Jesus was resurrected in his ' spirit body ' which Jesus had in his pre-human existence - 1st Peter 3:18 B
Those of 1st Cor. 15:51-53; Rev. 20:6 will also have a resurrection in a ' spirit body '.

We are nearing the soon coming ' time of separation ' on earth - Matthew 25:31-33,37 - when living people judged by Jesus as righteous ones can remain alive on earth, and continue to live on earth, right into the start of Jesus' coming 1,000-year governmental rulership over earth. The humble ' sheep ' are Not Jesus' spiritual brothers ' of Matthew 25:40..
The ' sheep ' do Not entertain any sort of rapture, but rather ' remain ' right here on earth - Proverbs 2:21-22
They come through the coming great tribulation of Revelation 7:14
Jesus promised that such humble people would inherit ( Not heaven ) but inherit the earth - Matthew 5:5; Psalm 37:11,29
The earthly realm of God's kingdom governing over earth - Psalm 72:8,12-14; Daniel 2:44

The dead rise and go first in the rapture. Not a hard concept to understand. Have you not read that at the rapture when Jesus comes for us that we will all be changed, the corruptible for the incorruptible? The Church, The Body of Christ will go in the rapture. It has to happen or God has lied to Israel.

The dead rise and ***at the same time*** meet the living in the air.

1Th 4:16-18 for the Lord Himself will be descending from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice
of the Chief Messenger, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ shall be rising first, (17)
Thereupon we, the living who are surviving, shall at the same time be snatched away together with them in
clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. And thus shall we always be together with the Lord." (18) So that,
console one another with these words."

So I guess you think all Christians before some fringe groups in the mid-1800s
had it wrong.

Not at all. The teaching is about 2000 years old.

The dead *****Shall Rise First***** and those alive *****Shall Be Caught Up Together With Them***** 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18King James Version (KJV) 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. By the way, the word "Then" indicates it happens after what was just mentioned. Hence "the dead rise first, and THEN those that are alive will be caught up in the air with those who have already rose and are in the air"

We will be caught-up to a higher level of maturity, even while we yet live.
However, there will be no physical rapture, only a falling away from reality.

We will ascend into the heavens just as Christ did.
