This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. It is so easy to say I believe he came in the flesh 2000 years ago and left us book that is somehow miraculously protected from being tainted ........ than say I am the temple of God. Christ in you the glory of God in our hearts.

No. But many may go through life not being consciously aware of it.
They're content with the Christ who came in the flesh being in heaven and having a bible to worship until they go and meet him up there. Thus living a life no different to those that they judge sinners other than not believing the bible and not sinning as much as they do.

True. Again, I don't think they refuse to acknowledge it, though. It's just not really even on their radar.
