And love can mean suffering as well. God suffers with our lack of life in Him. Our lack of charity and forgiveness toward one another. And it reflects our own suffering when death separates us from those we love. And mankind has recognized it for centuries.
To Love What Death Can Touch
‘Tis a fearful thing
to love what death can touch.
To Love What Death Can Touch
A fearful thing
to love, to hope, to dream, to be –
to be,
And oh, to lose.
A thing for fools, this,
And a holy thing, a holy thing
to love. For your life has lived in me,
your laugh once lifted me,
your word was gift to me.
To remember this brings painful joy. ‘Tis a human thing, love,
a holy thing, to love
what death has touched.

ETA: Well now you went and edited your post and mine is just redundant.
Right thread I think
Sorry Pleroo, I felt my post needed a little more umph. Glorifying sin is what Jimmie is doing and he doesn’t see it. It’s defeated and yet like all fundamentalists, he strives to keep it alive.
Sin is a big deal, but God’s grace covers it all, when we believe.
I'm not getting what your point is here Jimmie. Since you believe then sin isn't a big deal, at least not for you. If I've been understanding correctly, isn't it your position that EVERYONE"S sin is covered; it's just that not everyone realizes that to the extent that they are able to use Grace to free themselves from sin? Aren't unbelievers still under condemnation only from themselves if they don't use it? It seems like sin isn't a big deal unless we make it so. Or am I way off?
1 Corinthians 15:1-8 - 1 Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. 3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. 6 After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep; 7 then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles; 8 and last of all, as to one untimely born, He appeared to me also.
Paul provides the gospel message that is able to save any human being when it is received.
Jesus Christ died for our sins.
He was buried.
He was raised to new life. The raising to new life was a physical resurrection, being that He was seen by hundreds of people (minimum).
Believe this and God will ensure your salvation.
I am ok with love, compassion, and understanding.
I am not ok with died, woke up, and flew away because we are human.
stay away from the children.
