Yeah. Although I think JPII's heart was in the right place, but he seemed too ill to buck the Vatican bureaucracy.

Instead he should demand death?

What was it Jesus said???

OH YEAH,

38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’
39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.
40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well.
41 If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles.
42 Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.

Killing someone just doesn't seem that biblical...

How strange, A Catholic named BaptistFundie speaks about Catholics as if he wasn't a Catholic. BF, why don't you even know that you are Catholic, I don't understand that.......Why are so many Catholics clueless to the fact that they are Catholic? Protestants follow Catholic law and they speak of Catholics as if they were not Catholic?

WHAT?

Why don't Protestants know what they are?

You also need the comments from non-Catholics friends .

No human being is infallible, especially when it is about theology. One pope made eating meat on Friday a mortal sin; another pope eliminated it.

God instituted the death penalty(Gen 9:6) and it has not been revoked.

I know you think you are, but you are not the final authority on what is sensible.

Jesus tells us it is not what goes into the mouth that is bad but what comes out. Jesus ate pork. Chapter and verse were he did not?
