Man is inherently an ape cute when little but big aggressive and violent when grown
how to make an ape into a man ?you start early with massive training and never let up
They used to call that parenting now they call it child abuse

Beating children was never parenting. Beating ones spouse was never love
Thrill, I might wake up in the morning open the curtains, look outside and see it’s raining, does that mean it rains everyday?. I believe the nation Israel fell into that state where none of them were any good. Those entrusted to lead the people were the no good of that verse.
pcamps, I'm confused. Last time I looked "no one does good" meant "everyone does evil". Which of course in its context means everyone does what they want, not what God wants--and if God wants us to do good then of course everyone does just the opposite. Isaiah echos this in 53:6"
We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
And Paul reaffirms it in Romans 3:10-12
But if the verse was applicable to only one period in history then its meaning is lost in every other period. "Everybody was evil then, but take heart: ALL are good today. Maybe through Jesus, I don't know.
To the extent that good or evil exist, I think we all share a combination of both. Some might have a bit more good or evil in them than others, but there’s always a tension between the two.
The Bible says in man is by nature evil. Yet many in our culture, and many Christians insist that man is good. So what about you? With the mass shottings and other murders, the adultery and rampant immorality, the lying and stealing? Will any others agree with God that man is by nature evil, an object of Gods wrath.
Since we are in the ' last days of badness on Earth ' then we can expect to see the fulfillment of 2nd Timothy 3:13; 1-5.
We all do a 'balancing act', so to speak, between leanings towards righteousness and lawlessness.
Ignoring one's conscience, then one's conscience can become calloused hardening like flesh seared with a branding iron.
The world scene is why we are nearing the soon coming ' time of separation ' on Earth as per Matthew 25:31-33,37,40.
When Jesus will separate the righteous from the wicked. The wicked will be destroyed forever - Psalm 92:7.

That’s the tease of my post. What IS evil? I’d like to have a clean-cut definition, myself. Evil seems to be a lot more subjective than objective.
Agreed.
