Ransom in the OT is the Same in the NT, Gods People, the elect are objects of the ransom and not the devils people or children..

O.K., how did a serpent have sex with the mothers of those Jews? We know for a fact that it is impossible for even our genetically closest primate to the human, the chimpanzee or ape cannot cross breed with humans.

That being the case, and since you want everything to be literal, then we must conclude that Jesus was literally talking to literal snakes and not people when He said:

Mat 3:7 "O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?"

Maybe they got loose from the Israeli zoo and were attacking Jesus? Maybe they were someone's pet and got loose or maybe they were just indigenous to the country and were roaming around? Obviously they weren't human at all but literal snakes (according to you).
