I don't think Hoosier started this so we can hear UR's down play or make light of the seriousness of being condemned to hell.
I know of too many that are headed for condemnation. It's rather amazing that many express an attitude that I know\knew that they had two common expressions that they shared; they would say in effect when asked "why should God let me into heaven?"

You are saying Bad works = no salvation yet Good works = salvation...

Let's give the CREATOR of the ENTIRE UNIVERSE a little more credit than that.
God's plan is 100% perfect. Not ONE will be lost.
The gospel (good news) is that Jesus Christ is the saviour of the WORLD.
ESPECIALLY those who believe.
He IS the Good Shepherd who will leave the 99 to find the one who is lost.
We are ALL God's children.
Eventually ALL will finally believe it.
Eventually ALL will have his or heart filled to overflowing with love for their Creator and for their fellow brothers and sisters. YES! God's love is THAT powerful. YOU will see. And you will be exceedingly glad.

The fact is is that the fires of hell are going to be filled with people that said a lot of things...
Oh ... Alan ... How you and yours love the fires of hell so, that you would fight so hard to protect its gates from the one who has come to destroy them.
If your heart would be open that love might come in and make it into an heart of flesh from an heart of stone.
Do you know what a stony heart is and what it makes of the person in whose chest it resides? Violent and greedy and full of hate ...

That is the problem brother ... You don't care ... You should care how others feel and you should care about how you make them feel. You should care because God cares.
I love you bro ... As does the Lord ... If only you could love your enemies and your neighbors as yourself as the Lord has commanded, instead of hating them and wishing them to burn ... If only you believed in the fire of Gods love instead of believing in the fires of Hell.
