Did I say one should marry any person who puts his religous beliefs first? No, I did not.

I only said one shouldn't marry a person whose religous beliefs he does not put first.

What are saying and what I said are 2 completely different things.

Nice try again .

You actually reinforce the idea I presented, if someone holds fast to their religious beliefs that has nothing to do with whether a person should marry them.

In fact it makes the case that someones character is far and above religion when it comes to why a person should marry them.

In the case of the OP, she should dump the nonsense that would tell her the character of her man is not most important.

Marriage ceremonies usually has the words-----" til death do you part "

It says nothing about --thru eternity.

Eternity should trump life on earth.

Why in the world would a person facing this dilema ( the OP) seek the advice of anonymous posters here ?

I think, as with many OP, the OP already has their mind made up and is just seeking justification.

That would explain why the divorce rate in Chrisatanity is so high.

But it is only a superstition, and in that light what a funny concept of family you have. How sad for them.

Everyone is missing the point Christ made when asked 'who's wife will she be in the next life?'...What was His reply?...
