LOL you wish bro, explaining Houston is quite simple, take DFW minus the amusement parks and set in southeastern Texas, BAM! You have Houston
Uh no.
D/FW is multi-polar while Houston is the center of its metro with everything orbiting around it. Houston doesn't piggy back off of another major city (Fort Worth). They are set up quite differently.
Setting D/FW in Southeast Texas would get you a a whole different topography & culture.

Yes but what about the feeder roads? Downtowns that resemble office parks? Same retail architecture and same chains/restaurants? Same high five freeways with similar decorations? Flatness? Same types of homes for the most part including architecture and spacing? Nearly identical suburbs? There's no other metro Houston resembles more than DFW and vice versa, there's no getting around it Matt, I know you would love to convince people Houston is a mini LA but that's only a fantasy you and worldlyman share.
Houston is the kinda city where it doesn't care what anyone thinks of it. Sure parts of it are dirty, but its still way cleaner than most major cities, LA included.

Ok, I'm glad Houston thinks highly of itself.
