I can't pick -- too close to call!
Atlanta being the birthplace of Martin Luther King and a key city in the Civil Rights movement?? Houston being one of the largest distributors of Oil in the country and helping in putting the first man on the moon??? Dallas.......uh.......???

Point is, we have lots to brag about. That wasn't a shot at Dallas; I just couldn't think of anything.

Dallas has been the home to a lot of innovative things, but overall I think Dallas is famous for just being what it is, Dallas. There is a certain image in popular culture associated with the "Dallas lifestyle".

Every last one of these cities has snobs. Honorable mention to San Francisco, Philadelphia, and (recently, for some reason) New Orleans.

I don't look down at cities. I look down at people.

That same applies to people in small cities. I have heard of plenty of people small city people shout off idiotic stereotypes about NY and LA and the worst thing is that they actually genuinely believe it's true. Even though I myself think LA and California in general (except San Francisco) suck I wouldn't say smaller cities are lacking in idiots.

Why is San Francisco not in this poll? It's certainly a contender for this title.

The hell does Atlanta being the birthplace of MLK have to do making a city into a diva? MLK would be ashamed if he saw the crime rate and hooliganism currently going on in that city!

Or he'd be proud of the progress that Blacks in that city have made, and ATL having one of the largest affluent and middle-class Black pop. in the US. Also ATL being a place for Black celebs, scholars, athletes, etc. I'm sure MLK would be happy with that progress. I'm sure he wouldn't ignore all that to just focus on the criminals.

That's all nice and all that but you can't just ignore criminals either just to focus on black success stories. That would be totally disrespectful to all the innocent victims of those scumbags and also people's lives it still affects.
