Baltimore has many strip clubs, lounges, and bars which DC is lacking in. DC is known for megaclubs, and venues

Architecture: Even. DC has better downtown architecture with the monuments (Baltimore has pretty bland skyscrapers that aren't even very tall compared to other cities). Baltimore has better residential architecture with the variety of row houses.
True urban feel: Even. It's so hard to define urban, and with these 2 cities one doesn't stand out as more urban than the other. To me Baltimore feels a little tighter (dense) and grittier overall, but there are plenty of spots in DC that have an urban feel.
Nightlife: DC. Overall, DC has more variety of nightlife. They have clubs, lounges, bars, etc. Places where you can go dressed up or in jeans. Baltimore's nightlife is more geared to local/neighborhood bars.
Culture: Baltimore in terms of local culture because DC is so transient. If you're talking about museums/etc then it would be DC.

Lacking? There's a plethora of lounges and bars in DC. DC is actually more of a lounge and club city than bar-oriented Baltimore. I don't know how that's even a discussion. Plus DC does have a handful of stripclubs but not as many as Bmore, however I don't know what's Baltimore's answer to Stadium though...

If you want local culture in DC, you need to get away from The Mall and actually go into the neighborhoods. Go to Anacostia, Adams Morgan, Columbia Heights, U Street, Mount Pleasant, Capitol Hill, Petworth, Park View, LeDroit Park, Shaw, Southwest, Takoma, Bloomingdale, H Street NE, Georgetown, Dupont Circle, Logan Circle, Brookland, 16th Street Heights, Pleasant Plains, etc.

I guess its subjective, but to me almost any historic architecture(Victorian,Edwardian,Georgian ect...) is better than any modern achitecture

Just want to say that House of Cards was shot in Baltimore, with many scenes in the Charles Village/Johns Hopkins and downtown areas. At least on TV, Baltimore could easily substitute for DC

DT Baltimore has less office space than Tyson's Corner. Not much of a business center.
