Chicago also is in the history books,California & it's cities history is still being written & by the looks if it L.A is already on N.y level on a world level ,San Francisco also is the new financial capital in America. .....California has the worlds 7th largest economy so i don't see why a few of it's cities arent the new global powerhouses of America
there is anothor post somewhere here that claims boston is the bio-tech capital and 2nd (behind nyc) in financial agencies.

NYC envy, perhaps? NYC is on a Tier above all cities in the US. No city comes close, except when the arguments ride the back of a braoder region and use purposely skewed logic; for example, CA is more important than NYC, San Francisco is part of CA, therefore SF is more important than NYC.

In any case, this thread is about why NYC never loses, and I think its because NYC is great at a lot of things.

Did you ever think that since NYC has a larger population than other cities…that there are more people from NYC that are posting here?

NYC is over-rated IMO. LA is the best city in the USA, and then you have the next 10 best cities on the East Coast, with the exception of Chicago.

Just my experience, and I grew up only a few hours from NYC, and have been there over 100 times.

Lol, most real New Yorkers on this site don't even waste their time in this forum; they're too busy on the far more active New York City forum actually discussing important matters. Why come here when there's no other city in this country that compares to NYC? NYC doesn't lose these City v City polls because unless there's a ridiculous handicap, or a very specific criteria (i.e. COL, weather), no other city comes close. Fact.

Sure, congestion up the rear, highest cost of living, and the most pretentious people on the planet…go ahead, you can have it.
