Twentynine Palms, CA or Jacksonville, NC?

Twentynine Palms! It's right by Joshua Tree Park and LA and SD.... Jacksonville, NC is full of rednecks and trailer homes... pass

Asheville, NC or Burlington, VT?

Burlington, but I'm a bit biased (hometown)

Raleigh, NC vs. Sacramento, CA

Bradenton. I'm thinking they get slightly less hurricanes.

Raleigh. Admittedly have only been to Sacramento, but I prefer the Southeast over the West. I have lived in Sacramento and it's underwhelming for a city of its size. Many smaller cities are more vibrant and actually feel bigger than Sacramento. It's also quite pretentious, Sacramento thinks it's on Austin's or Portland's tier when it's really not.

For this one, assume you are a dual citizen of the US and Canada:

Toronto or Chicago?

While I love Chicago as a city I think I’d pick Toronto as a place to live.

Boise or Calgary?

Calgary: bigger, more to do, Calgary Stampede, C-Train.

Omaha or Richmond?

Omaha or Richmond?
Richmond. I love both. But Omaha is so landlocked that that pulls Richmond in the lead for me. But both would be good choices.

Charleston, SC or New Orleans, LA?

Charleston, SC or New Orleans, LA?
Charleston although I love visiting New Orleans, I don't think I could live there.

Alexandria, VA or Evanston, IL?

Alexandria, VA or Evanston, IL?
Alexandria, despite its location just across the Potomac from Washington. Evanston is charming and urbane, but Alexandria has historic charm and an even more urban feel.

Davenport, Iowa, or Harrisburg, Pa.? (Bonus points if you can figure out why I paired these two.)

Harrisburg. I prefer PA to IA and Harrisburg is in a nice part of the state. No idea as to their connection.

Lodi, CA or Davie, FL?
