Omaha is excellent. Love the downtown and mix of new and grit. A smaller Kansas City with Minneapolis mixed in.

Pittsburgh, PA or San Antonio, TX?

I would love to visit San Antonio someday, especially to take in the Paseo del Rio (even more than the Alamo). But to live? Pittsburgh. Spectacular topography, a decent downtown, a cool college neighborhood on its east side, an economy on the mend, and Primianti Bros. sandwiches.

Columbia, Md., or Reston, Va.?

Columbia, MD. A nice suburb of Baltimore. I love the planned neighborhoods and access to D.C. as well.

Murfreesboro, TN or Greensboro, NC?

I've spent a fair amount of time in Murfreesboro and even considered graduate school at MTSU. It's a great town and close to Nashville and Chattanooga, so I'll go with it.

Arlington, TX or Sandy Springs, GA?

Sioux Falls. Has more to offer than most don't realize. Really wouldn't want to live in either. Bot are a bit too cold.

Syracuse, NY or Des Moines, IA?

Des Moines. I've always been curious about it and I think I'd rather be in the midwest than a mid-tier city in upstate NY.

Greenville, SC v Louisville, KY

Greenville because it's smaller and the winters aren't as bad.

Aiken, SC or St Augustine, FL?

Aiken because it is close to Augusta. I prefer Georgia to Florida.

Ashland, KY or Tempe, AZ?
