Pittsburgh, PA. I hear it's pretty happening since it's been revitalized and I've never felt so unsafe in a downtown area until traveling to Portland.

Rapid City, SD or Bismarck, ND?

El Paso... larger, far more amenities and job opportunities, warmer climate. Taos would be a cool place to visit for a day trip though.

Michigan City, IN or Colorado City, AZ?

Ha, good one. Michigan city for sure. My parents met while camping at the Indiana Dunes so that's bound to resonate. But I think I'd want a winter place in Colorado city, AZ.

Traverse City, Michigan or Port Charlotte, FL.

Port Charlotte, easily. I do love MI. I have family there and find the state to be a beautiful one. But the Port Charlotte/Ft. Myers area has some of the most gorgeous beaches in America and I greatly prefer FL's climate to MI's.

Columbia, SC or Syracuse, NY?
