Plattsburgh NY or Port Angeles WA?
I suspect that Port Angeles might be coastal, and WA is beautiful, so I would probably go with that. Plattsburgh has a state university, but very little else. if you want something in the same neck of the woods, choose Burlington, VT..

Ann Arbor, MI vs. Madison, WI

Madison. Being on the shore of Lake Mendota is nice.

Colorado Springs, CO or Albuquerque, NM?

Colorado Springs... I could see myself happy in either city, but I prefer CS's regional location and I personally think it's a little more family-friendly than ABQ.

Bellingham, WA or Indio, CA?

Bellingham, WA or Indio, CA?
Indio, just for the climate alone, compared to the PNW.

New Orleans. Better food, the French Quarter, the Garden District, and residents who know how to laissez les bons temps rouler.

El Paso, Texas, or Albuquerque, N.M.?

Tough one. Lima Ohio, middle of nowhere, and Utica, very depressing winter weather. I will go with Utica. At least you are closer to a lot more.

Miami or Chicago?
