Certainty Chicago is vastly bigger and better than Denver, but the gap between Chicago and Denver is smaller than the gap between Chicago and NYC.
NYC is probably the greatest city on the planet, Chicago is top 5 in the U.S., Denver is top 15 in the U.S. All three cities are on very different tiers.
And who in their right mind would send an international traveler to a place like Miami over Chicago?!?
Miami gets far more international travelers than Chicago. Miami is a giant international tourist destination, probably third in the U.S. after NYC and LA. So your opinion is odd, to say the least.
Some people feel an incessant need to put Chicago in its place. It's humurous, because it shows nothing but insecurity. But, a few posters keep on keepin' on. After following a few Chicago-related threads, it's easy to ascertain who these posters are.

Why not? The numbers speak for themselves, Miami is high on the U.S. international destination list, Chicago not so much, and its pathetic international visitation numbers speak more than anyones comments on CD. So can we agree that Chicago is "flyover" from an international perspective?
I think we should have a ban on Chicago bashing threads... I have learned to consider the "sources," though, so it's now just kind of the same old same old, and the bashing has become old and predictable.

No, you aren't allowed to use data on international tourist numbers. Better yet, use no data of any sort. Usage of Census-verified data and other reliable data sources is obviously trolling.
Much better to make up random statements like "Chicago is bigger and better than Tokyo" or "International tourists don't come to Miami". Then you're being Fair and Balanced...

I am not bashing Chicago, but to deny its relative lack of international tourism is the same as plugging your ears and saying lalalalala.
