Is Detroit really that freaking low??? For a city that has not been below 250 in god knows how many decades, being at 52 or so in mid-May seems like an extreme reduction in homicides. Good for them if that is accurate, they need to catch a break!!!
Either that or they all moved south to Atlanta or other cities experiencing a surge.
Well, they did / are because since a few year there have been this great migration of people going to the south because the NorthEast and the southwest are getting pricier.. And you see those two regions are getting way safer, L.A is getting an historic low, NYC went bellow 300 homicides...
I’m not sure what Salt Lakes numbers are but this has been the most homicides countywide here that I can remember. I’ve been looking but I can’t seem to find exact numbers anywhere for city or county.
