Lots of people have been to Dallas, but you obviously don't know Dallas like you think you do. btw, Dallas actually is a fashion center. Many designers and stores pick it because of it's big trade district with people coming in from Texas and Oklahoma, also international visitors coming in from everywhere to the fashion shows.
Wow. So because Dallas stores draw people from Oklahoma, it is a fashion center? Give me a break. LA, Miami, and New York are fashion centers. Dallas is not.

Talk what you know, it's not only just Oklahoma and Texas. I'm saying those are where most of the business come from. Just read up on the fashion scene and stores in Dallas and you'll be surprised.
it's very odd that houston and dallas are being compared when it comes to shopping. i can think of much better ways to compare the two.......which city smells worse? which city has the best suburbs? which city has the worst traffic?

[Honestly] I wasn't aware Houston or Dallas stink, I guess I have enough common sense to stay away from the industrial parts???
Anyways, both cities have very upscale shopping but with Dallas it's all spread out and with Houston, it's all located in Uptown. So people automatically assume Houston has better shopping[It does imo],but Dallas has us definatly beat when it comes upscale stores.
I believe the term used was "fashion center." Excuse me.
If this question just concerns comparing the two cities, why are people bringing up shopping in other states? Why is this in the national forum and not the Texas forum?
Between the TWO of them. Not compared to others around the nation. Also, your answer was answered by the OP on an earlier page. It shouldn't have been in the general forum in the first place.
