Which state has the best and worst Capitol Building? (Boston, live, largest)

Texas capitol building is huge. It's pink granite and you can't imagine the true size of it if you never been there. I remember we went into the front doors one time and came out in the middle of the street.
When I was a kid, I took a lot of road trips cross-country with my family. In every state we went, without fail we toured the statehouse. By the time I was 16, I'd seen 36 capitol buildings, and after awhile they started to blend together. The notable exceptions to this were Florida and Pennsylvania. In Tallahassee, even the tour guide dismally joked about the buildings resembling male genitals. In Harrisburg, I was stunned by the workmanship and attention to minute architectural details. It is an impressive building.
As an aside, I've never been to New England, but those Connecticuit photos are making me put those states on my travel list.
Would love to see every capitol in my lifetime. Some of them are just amazing structures
As a lifelong Illinois native I haveta appreciate ours, although I won't claim it the best. It has some kind of a curious haunting quality about it tho thats hard to describe, especially contrasted with the blue sky and the flat, featureless prairie landscape. No matter where you are in the city, your eyes keep getting drawn toward it. Like a mausoleum........
Florida's capital is "horrendous and awful". I love Iowa's capital and of course Pennsylvania's capital too...including the stunning interior. PS I know but Philadelphia City Hall gets an honorable mention...LOL.
Indiana's capitol is beautifully maintained and recently renovated.........all polished marble, statuary and waxed floors. A must-see for capitol hounds. I regret I don't have a complete outside pic, but was just there recently and took these. I've seen pics on the web but the building seems more impressive in person.
Interesting that in the Illinois capitol, with a special pass you can go all the way up to the top turret inside the dome, and look out. But even though Indiana has a somewhat similar dome, I was told by a janitor there that its completely inaccessible.
