Well... It may be possible that the numbers showed him people liked Albuquerque better. I wouldnt know what to say thats forsure. Thats a big margin.. actually I thought it would be closer. This has proved alot. And our downtown is still better! and.....Is going to always be better!

Wow. Did you miss me? I guess if more people liked Albuquerque enough to live there, there would be more people living there than in Tucson, yeah?

Well Albuquerque has a city ordinance that only allows a certain amount of homes that can be built, In certain areas... at certain times.. our city council is really strict and I mean strict!, our mayor isnt but the council is. Thats what holds Albuquerque back from sprawl. Believe me the tucson council is not as strict as ours.. they probably dont care about how much sprawl is going on..

Oh believe me we have our waiting lists.. home construction has begun once again and they are building big time! Plus Tucson is the Alternate to Phoenix, they arent that far apart. Ours is Santa Fe, Plus our Neighbor Rio Rancho is growing 3x as fast.. so the "metro" is booming.

Well believe it or not our fastest growing city in New Mexico is Clovis. Its population is expected to grow 20,000 by 2010. Home sales have jumped like crazy and home building in clovis is wild.. they can even keep up with the demand.. over 4 home companies have started building, in 5 different subdivsions.

That may be what's keeping the city of Albuquerque from sprawling, but it sounds as though the rest of the metro area and state is ready and willing.
