NYC is more like LONDON than Chicago. Ask anyone who has been to all 3 places and they will tell you.

I have, and I hardly agree.

New York is NOTHING like London, but I can certainly understand why a New Yorker would attempt to align with London.

Picadilly Circus = Times Square, Harrods = RH Macy's

Oh, wait I forgot. I have never been out of NYC.

My list:

New Orleans (the French Quarter, being below sea level and needing levees)
Savannah, GA
Charleston, SC
San Francisco (the hills, Fisherman's Warf, and the Bridge)
Washington, DC (tons of Museums and GOV buildings everywhere)
Sedona, AZ (red rock country)

But the truth is that ALL cities are unique in their own way.

Harrods can hardly be compared to Macy's in any way, shape or form - other than the fact that they are both Department Stores.

Picadilly = Times Square? If you say so, but I don't see it.

Whats unique about Miami? A ton of cubans and haitians? Been there... didn't find it unique in my personal opinion. It looked like a lot of the rest of coastal cities in Florida to me.

Boston is historically significant.... and you can see that in many places not just the history books.

Denver is a mountain city, even if most people are leaving the city to go to places near by, its still the significant metro in the area. But yeah I also think Denver could be a bit sketchy..

Chicago... how could you not have Chicago? It's like THE all American city. Skyscrapers, history, what it has to offer in relation to other cities....
