Houston is not dirty. It lacks adequate major city infrastructure in my opinion but it's a fairly clean city when compared to NYC and LA.

Houston is also brand spanking new and glossy by comparison albeit in that new town centre multi use development center way.

Oh come on. Will you accept nothing other than Texas is the best? I'm trying to be balanced. Only in states like Texas and perhaps North Carolina, especially in cities like Houston, Dallas and Charlotte are such professions that esteemed. Houston lacks a real creative job market, so people instead expect you to say that I'm a chemical engineer for X company or I'm in supply chain management for X shipping company, and it tends to perk up more ears than saying I'm a writer, a blogger, an artist, an activist, a non profit manager, an art director, a journalist, a model, a creative consultant, special attaché to X defense minister of X foreign country, etc etc etc.

At least discuss why you think its wrong instead of giving me a one liner. I give you the common courtesy of replying to your posts.

Houston's air is cleaner than half of California's. Even the smaller cities in California are polluted as hell. Houston didn't make the rankings for year round & short term particle pollution while LA did. If you think Houston is dirty, smelly, & disgusting you obviously haven't been to NYC.

You know, when I visited California & went to purchase some alcohol at the store they told me it had to be in the trunk which was not a big deal, but it just goes to show how regulated California really is. In Texas you can have it inside the car as long as its not in the front seat. In Texas, you can carry a concealed handgun in your glove box or display it on the dash board or on a gun rack in your truck.

In California dogs have to be on leashes or you automatically get slapped with a fat fine. Texas is more lax. It would either go unnoticed or you'd get a warning at best if someone narced.
LOL you're so full of it, first I don't even think you've ever left Texas in your life from all the bogus statements you've made in the past, and secondly you can have booze in the car as long as its unopened.

I would have to go with California.

People in florida are absolutely ridiculous and Texans are a little too conservative and racist for me.

California has much better weather, diversity, and outdoor things to do.

How are Floridians ridiculous and all texans are not rabidly conservative and racist. Believe me, a lot are but not all.

Just like not all Californians are creative and smart. A lot I've met here are actually kind of aloof and are as bad in a creative field as an American Idol reject. At least people in Texas are classically skilled in relevant practical stuff.

In what way is Texas racist? Based off your location maybe you are generalizing all of Texas by experience you've had in east Texas. Dallas and Houston are some of the most diverse cities in the nation with lots of growth from all over the place (nothing like Cali of course). San Antonio is very Hispanic and Austin is very liberal (in a southern context). The area in these cities is were most Texans live so why not generalize the state based on this area. El Paso furhter west is also heavily Hispanic.

Haha, you really have no idea what you're talking about.

Texas has much, much stricter alcohol laws than California. In fact, it's not really even a contest in that regard--just like weather, scenery, culture, and so forth.

For what I highlighted, it is a contest.

I don't get that "don't mess with Texas" thing
it comes across like backward and tasteless, that's the thing with Texas, they like to have that glossy
and refined look but at the same time they carry that rancher-cowboy arrogant style to ridiculous levels at times.

The "Don't mess with Texas" slogan means don't litter. I haven't seen that advertise in years.
