How is people from a city being bi-lingual an embarrassment?
Rednecks in N.O. speak French fluently. I really doubting that thugs in East NY or Brownsville can even speak 1 language fluently. English.

From what I've heard SLC has changed rapidly in the past 5 years or so. It's less than 50% LDS, so that's still alot of folks who want to party it up while their Mormon neighbours are home playing Monopoly or something .
I can only imagine this trend will continue, and in 10 years SLC may not even seem all that Mormon.

The difference between the LDS population and the LDS population has nothing to do with playing Monopoly. The LDS party, too. They just remember the party the next morning.

You forget that Salt Lake City proper has a population of less than 200,000. It's not growing either. It's had this population for years and years. Yes, less than 50% of Salt Lake City is Mormon, but if you look at the entire Salt Lake City metropolitan area, you have more like 70% LDS. That's changing somewhat, but not a great deal.
