I'll start by saying the Bay Area. Few regions have such a dynamic and original set of words and phrases. In the bay these words permeate through all walks of life, social classes, races, etc.
Forget the obvious ones like "hella", "sick", "tight" etc, Here is a video to demonstrate some of the other ones. Watch it before you comment:
I like some Bay Area slang and still use it, mainly "hella, sick, or tight" and maybe a few others but I find most of it annoying as helll "thizz, hyphy, dumb, etc.." that crap gets old real quick.

And that is what partly makes is so annoying to me. Seeing a bunch of upper middle class white kids emulate ghetto rappers and the way they talk is just fake to me, some just come across as posers imo. Especially when some use it on a regular basis in casual conversations.

how about "swerved" or "off the heazy"?
in all seriousness, the Bay Area seems to have more regional pride than most other places and somehow that translates into the slang there.

NO, if I'm joking and/or partying around with friends we might use some of those more ridiculous terms but rarely in normal conversation. Although I do miss hearing "beezy" used, I always thought that one was funny. "you dumb beezy", haha.
The D.C area uses alot of slang....I say things sometimes that just roll off the tongue....other ppl from the area understand but if I say something over to clarify I end up still using slang for another slang term.....We dont say things like NY and them we say "young" for "yo we call ppl "joe" "moe" "ji like" for kind of.....basically saying things without saying it indirectly
