you could say that for dc over any city in the u.s. per capita/acreage... dc is packed with historical monuments/museums.

I'm gonna have to say, after moving to DC for over a month now, I am very impressed with this city. Gimme a few more months (or years) and I can really vote to see what I like more. So far, all I can say is, The view of SF is still the prettiest in the US (mainly because of the hills), but I love the people more in DC (I am probably the only Chinese person to say this).
The remodeled rowhouses in DC are gorgeous.

Also, (so far), i feel DC is a little more Cosmo. When im in Georgetown, Eastern Market, U Street area, Adams, Golden Triangle, or Dupont, I feel like im in a different city in each area.

In SF, pretty much anywhere you go, you still feel you're in SF (once again because of those darn beautiful hills).

Agreed, you are absolutely correct!

Dead.

1. D.C. will always be better than SF and Metro will always be better than BART

2. Boston, Providence, Hartford, New York City, Newark, Trenton, Philly, Wilmington, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Richmond, Virginia Beach, Newport News, Atlanta, Miami, Charleston, Charlotte, Savannah, Jacksonville, and Orlando WILL ALWAYS BE BETTER than San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, San Jose, Sacramento, Berkeley and, Oakland. No competition we have a lot more big cities.

Biggie all day long, Tupac is #2
Eastsideeeeeeeeee

I'll try to be reasonable and say its not about one being better than the other...just that they offer different things.

America would fall apart without D.C.

San Francisco?

Not so much.
