USC was finally put where they belong tonight. Proof that they were extremely overrated this year. Maybe they should stick to playing NCAA 09 because that's the only way you'd have a chance of seeing USC used in the same sentence as national championship this year....or even the next few years for that matter.

Nope, they just got BEAT, plain and simple.

They just lost a big one. Guess that's the first one since '05

As of today...I'd say LSU and OU in the NC.

no way. LSU doesn't have enough consistency at QB.

Well I have to agree, USC got their butts handed to them on both sides of the ball. It was like I was watching another team in USC uniforms. Kiss off any chance at a national championship this year, maybe even a Rose Bowl appearances. The BSC should be relieved, that eliminates one team from consideration. IMO, that was the worse loss since Pete Carroll first year at SC. That was even worse then the Texas loss. We got spanked!!

no way, the UCLA game was way worse. it was a win and you're in, and they choked. that would be worse to me.

But that game was so much closer, this Oregon State game was a butt kicking. Although both those games will kick us out of any possible NC game.

one thing that SC has going for them is that the SEC plays and beats up on itself all year long, then play a championship game. two losses was in last year, granted both of those losses were in triple overtime. 1 loss this early isn't as bad as you think. now, if a big ten or someone like wake forest runs the table, that will be depressing. ole miss came 1 42 yard field goal with no time left from beating wake.
