I'll start. CDOT "closes" the express lanes on i-70 and people still use it anyway.

With cameras everywhere I assume the offenders get a ticket?

I love Colorado. The more I explore it, the more things I discover that people never talk about. I have been here for almost 30 years and have yet to see all of it.
It’s so massively diverse. From absolute nothingness on the plains in some parts of the east to aqua blue lakes in the San Juan’s and red rock canyons in the west.
It doesn’t take much to get away from crowds, if one is willingly to give the dirt and gravel roads a try. So much Native American heritage, many not documented online.
Colorado still holds so much magic.

I see that someone is trying to boost traffic. I'll play.

Like (living in Denver):
1. Lowish taxes. Good property, income. No so good sales taxes.
2. Climate. The sun god Ra is very powerful.
3. My micro-neighborhood neighbors.
4. Clean government. Functions well and scandals are almost non-existent.
5. "Mexican" food. How I survived my childhood of bland English-style food, I do not know.
6. Safe.

Don't like:
1. Professional sports. I wish all the teams would pack their bags and leave town. Tomorrow.
2. Picking my nose all the time.
3. A particular John Denver song. Earworm.

I've been lucky to hear these songs played in concert by these artists over the last few decades.

Colorado-Flying Burrito Brothers
Colorado-Stephen Stills/Manassas
Netherlands-Dan Fogelberg
40 Miles From Denver-Yonder Mountain String Band
Colorado Christmas-Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
A Good Feeling To Know- Poco---->>>>"Colorado Mountains, I can see your distant sky, you're bringing a tear of joy to my eyes."

I love the view of Pikes Peak from my family room window. Been in Colorado since 1981. Born in Ohio, was raised, married and had kids in California, we moved to Colorado and stayed.

Speaking of views, when you drive to the top of Pikes Peak on a clear day you can easily see Denver from the north, Raton Pass to the south, Limon to the east, and your mountain ranges to the west. It actually isn't a tough drive at all. I have some good memories of Colorado Springs growing up as a kid, riding to the top of Pikes Peak with my family was one of them.

There’s a relatively short hike 1.5 miles ish each way off Rampart Range Rd west of Castle Rock called Devil’s Head. It an old fire lookout. From the top you get the same view - Denver, Pikes Peak and way west into South Park.
