This should be the Blue Jackets getting the 2023 1st round pick and the 2024 3rd round pick from LA. I got the wrong information from my NHL chat group and have no idea where that poster copy/pasta his information from.

This will give Columbus 3 picks in the first round, I feel relieved now.

LOL the Bengals and Browns in the same league?! Bengals are miles ahead.

Also, imagine the Browns or Bengals had beaten the 2007/08 Patriots in the first round of the playoffs. The Blue Jackets did the equivalent of that just four years ago.

If we can get Bedard with Gaudreau and a new coach this could be a Cup contending team for years.

CBJ blows a 4-goal lead to the Pens last night. Of course, they still got the loser overtime point. They can't even tank correctly.

They lucked out because of Joe Burrow. Otherwise, their mediocrity of the last 10 years or so is kind of their ceiling. LOL

Lol. My brother used to have season tickets and I used to go to a decent number of games. It's always tomorrow. Build for the future, maybe next year. LOL

I think the people in charge are probably too Midwestern. They need to put some real hot headed jerk offs in charge of that team and maybe things will turn around. Find the Urban Meyer of hockey and let him do his thing, I don't care who he urinates off.

Compare what Nashville or Carolina has done all these years compared to the Blue Jackets.

PerryMason614, the CBJ had a fire and brimstone coach, John Tortorella, and he made the Jackets into a respectable, playoff-caliber team that actually won a couple series. He got burnt out here and left. Maybe the GM, Jarmo, needs to go, but he seems to be respected around the league.

Marchenko sets the CBJ rookie record for goals scored on Sunday in a win over the Senators, netting the game winner 16 seconds into overtime. This season has obviously been awful, but the Marchenko-Gaudreau connection is coming along, definintely cause for optimism at least to some degree. It looks like the Blackhawks are truly going all out in the tank effort to get Connor Bedard, CBJ just two points "behind" Chicago for worst in the league. I know some people will criticize the effort to win Sunday night, but personally I liked to see it. It was a good game and they played hard, on the second night of back to back where they got blasted 7-0 the night before by Florida. Would have been easy to just call it quits.

I can't believe the CBJ beat Ottawa given a) the Sens were still fighting for a wild card spot; and b) the CBJ lineup looked like something the Monsters would ice in a mid-season game against Grand Rapids. You don't want players to tank (they'd be a cancer in the locker room), but losing out on a chance to draft Bedard or Fantilli would stink. Something that's impressed me all season is the attendance as the Jackets currently average 16,717, which is ahead of 8 teams, and just behind the Kings and Islanders. Ohio sports fans are truly some of the best.
