I lived in Reynoldsburg for about a year and was robbed 3 times, I feel that theft is extremely high in that area. I do not know anything about Pickerington, but I would definately make sure that if you move to Reynoldsburg that you go to police station for any crime reports of thefts ect. in a neighborhood in Reynoldsburg before buying something. I would hate to see your family end up as a victim of theft.

I lived off Brice Road as well. That is no place to live.

Maestro is exactly right. Reynoldsburg is to be avoided at all costs...especially in your price range. Just do a realtor.com search, see how many in Reynoldsburg and how many in Pickerington are in the $300K range. Last I checked, 1 in Reynoldsburg, 89 in Pickerington.

That should address some key issues.

I grew up in Reynoldsburg but it's my opinion that "Picktown" is the more desireable suburb.

With your price range I was just wondering why you weren't considering some of the other suburbs surrounding Columbus?

No contest- Pickerington. Better schools and quality of life. You should be able get a great house in your range, especially with the buyer's market.

Pickerington has a Skyline Chili... therefore it is better by default.

If I were given the choice myself, I'd choose Pickerington. The traffic can get very congested, though.

Commuting from Pickerington to downtown is easier when you take SR 33... Just go down Diley and hit 33.. the commute is far far better than going thro 256 via R'burg.

That Skyline on Broad St. across from Panera isn't in Reynoldsburg?
