It's just about past its prime and from what I've seen, there's more in the northern part of the state than down towards the shore. I bet rte 7 to the west is still pretty good. Maybe Litchfield Cty is still good.

Was up in Danbury for something yesterday and was past its prime (but not completely gone) there but driving along the Merritt from NY state line to exit 47 for work on Friday was still quite good. Don't know if it's faded there over the weekend yet, I'll obviously know on Monday.

The house across the street from me has already changed at the top and they have colored leaves already down in their front yard. I'll be creepy and snap a picture tomorrow if I remember.

Not a post since August. Does that mean the foliage is crap so far this year? Looks like that prediction two posts before me by channel 8 was off.

Ridgefield today...Area with bare trees. It's so annoying how we never get uniform peak colors because of all the different types of trees.

Basically Locust, Birch and some Maples are almost or bare

Oaks and Hickories are changing colors

Sugar Maples are bright as usual and around peak now
