Check this out. Data from BDR June 1972.

PDF file. http://www1.ncdc.noaa.gov/pub/orders...B92C2F7F46.pdf

14 days in a row with rain.
Only 6 days the entire month without precip recorded.
One day had 6.18" (Agnes?)

Actually it was Agnes, I noted it in a post a few days ago when I said Andrea was the 2nd rainiest June day ever at BDR, I had checked the date and indeed this was the date of Agnes. So I guess at least part of CT got the flooding from that too....

Any word on Hartford/Litchfield county totals? What kind of winds should we be expecting?

Thanks!

P.S. we only got .25" last night. Had some (very) brief sun in the early evening, too.

Just amazing to see this non typical storm in June.

From Ryan Maue.

"Thurs-Fri Sea-level pressure w/low pressure quite anomalous for non-tropical system for mid-June. 990 mb is deep."
