A 27 year old man was stabbed & died from it on Plain Drive
in East Hartford, CT.
Sad...he had 3 kids too.
Three young black men, in early 20s, were charged,
with the murder.
How many murders have there been in that town in the last year?
Know there's been at least 3...
Could hardly call that a safe town, if they have murders every few months there.
A man from East Hartford, also killed 8 of his co-workers in Manchester at a beer company awhile back.

I grew up in East Hartford. Most neighborhoods in East Hartford are safe, quiet, and seldom see any problems. Each of the murders in the recent past involved victims that had a relationship with the person who murdered them.

I am not Dana, I am RockNRoll, i've been given numerous warnings from JayCT for doing NOTHING WRONG!
East Hartford is NOT a safe town no more.
Heard many ppl say it's a "rough" town who don't even live there, i.e.
unsafe.
Town keeps getting sued too, due to abusive cops who harm innocent citizens in that town.
Rather sad seeing as it's next door to state capitol.

Is this a joke post or serious? E.Hartford is really not what I would consider a "rough" place. I can think of a lot of places I would consider rougher the E. Hartford.

yes, there are alot of rough parts of that town.

some parts are nice, but not the entire town, that's for sure!
there are a lot of dangerous parts of that town
had an article where ppl had to jump out of 2nd story apt.
bldg. windows because an arsonist started another fire in Apt. Bldg on Route 5.
another sad & dangerous situation.
this wasn't the 1st arson either at that same Apt. bldg.

I agree. Most of East Hartford is nice. It has a few less desirable areas but no where that is considered dangerous really. Jay

One cop sued for breaking a guys arm during an attempt to flee and was a drug addict with brittle bones does not constitute a lot of law suits. Also, Ive lived here for 12 years and in the time I have lived here I have been the victim of exactly one car break in. Nothing else. Not saying its a comfy safe town that you can leave your windows and doors open but neither is my home town of Cheshire where the Petits found out the hard way. Most officers in East Hartford are actually pretty fair and even headed.
