Purdue was going to go away either through bankruptcy or voluntary dissolution. It's a sad story but not a result of CT's economic climate.

That is why I said it is a long time coming, and I’m not surprised. That said, it still affects the state’s economy.

This has already been brought up. Purdue has adversely affected the state's and other states' economies in more way than one.

You gotta specific timeline for this Bob? I've been waiting years.
My job only keeps me in two very high COL locations.

And again, as I stated, it was made official yesterday. It was not official at the time of post # 13,574. That makes it worthy of a mention.

Exactly. In fact many companies that once touted the remote employment model have rethought this and are slowly moving back to a more traditional work environment. They found that remote employment discouraged team work and meant less commitment and loyalty to the company. Jay

Are you kidding, its absolutely worth mentioning again. This company has devastated lives and negativley impacted CT's ecomomy as well as others. They made their own bed.

New Britain will be the site of what will hopefully be a $1 billion data center. Sounds promising. Jay
