Why spend 40-60K to go online. Sign up at NCC for $4300. While kids do indeed feel invincible, parents are still writing the checks.
Yale will be mostly in person though.

I am glad anyone wanted them, given their horrific financial situation. There has been an "abandon ship" movement there the last few months.

According to what I have read, UB will continue to operate as an independent entity. Again, it’s not going away. Jay

Yale released their plan yesterday, and most of the undergrad classes will be remote. A few such as labs will have an in person component.

For most lectures and seminars — as well as other small-format courses such as writing classes and introductory language classes — the bulk of instruction will be conducted remotely. There will be both synchronous and asynchronous components. Wherever feasible, such courses will have associated in-person supplements.

For a small number of classes, such as those involving laboratory or studio work that cannot be conducted remotely, instruction will take place in person, in socially distanced settings.

The .00000001% of the world's population that gets in Yale isn't doing a semester gig at Joe Schmo CC.
They'll be fine with online. Mom and Dad's finances will be fine too. They probably pulled some strings to get Aiden in, so no, no State U for them.
The lower income sect smart enough to get in goes for free anyway. They didn't work their butts off for Housy Tech.

Apologies if I'm being too generous with the percentage.

Don’t they broadcast it every year? Jay

Not sure. I have seen clips on ESPN. Not sure the full event is shown.

Connecticut appears to be going after New York companies in the fallout from the pandemic. Already ten small firms have signed leases totaling 75,000 square feet in Greenwich. Will more follow? Jay
