I'm not predicting complete abandonment. Only pointing out that it's a definite option. Just because GE announces something today doesn't mean that things won't change months to years from now.

Some people are trying to rewrite history and minimize or completely disregard the role that taxes played in GE's departure.

As long as Malloy and Co. learned their lesson from this experience we will be ok. It's only if they forget and become complacent and go back to spending that we will be in trouble.

If CT continues to steadily increase taxes then you better believe that more companies are going to be leaving.

The U.S. has a lot of great places to live.

I read her comments and find her to be a complete hypocrite. It was not that long ago she was Governor and a lot of today's issues are a direct result of her terms as Governor. I liked her but she was basically a do-nothing Governor. She continued the same policies as Rowland which basically meant that she kicked the can down the road for future administrations to deal with. Well Governor Rell, we are finally dealing with those problems, like it or not. Had you done something during your administration, we might be better off. Jay

I mean I respect Malloy as a person and probably a great guy to have at a backyard BBQ. Since he has been Governor of CT never liked him as Governor. Gave false promises to hospitals that he could end debt in the State by taxing them at a certain percentage. Then when it didn't work hospitals encouraged him to change the tax, but he didn't. Then has cut over $500-$600 Million dollars from hospitals in 5 year's. Has pushed businesses away due to his strong Union support. Has raised taxes. Has caused state college tuitions to raise up.

Says he has ended chronic homelessness in the state. However, decimates cripples crushes DMHAS and shuts down facilities. Cut funding to disability services as well in the state.

Did allow part of Route 8 and I 84 to be paved.

Dems had a veto proof majority for the bulk of her term. Kinda hard to do much with that.
