NWS Upton Basically says Someone in their coverage warning area (includes Long Island, NYC, Westchester, Putnam, All 4 CT southern Counties, and parts of NE NJ) will reach over 6 inches of snow but the model SREF is still showing under 6 inches.

SOMEWHERE IN THE CWA...WARNING CRITERIA SNOW COULD BE REACHED...ALTHOUGH SREF PLUMES AVERAGE IN THE ADVISORY RANGE...OR UNDER 6 INCHES MOST LOCALES.

I am confident we will see over 4 inches AT LEAST! I wouldn't be surprised we get another 6-10" snowstorm from this.

Keep in mind.. this is a true coastal storm unlike the others. Rotating bands will happen and if your caught in it then over 10 inches possible.

So when they talk about 95, 15, etc., what do they mean. We are about 15 miles or so from 95 but about 5 from 15 and 1 from 91 so what's the corridor/area spread out to be?

You know how sometimes we see it snowing near the meritt and mixing near I-95? That. You're considered well North of I-95 so you'll be all snow no worries about mixing. I-95 more for Post Road/I95 and coast give or take a couple miles.

NYC is actually pretty close this year, the main difference is that Sunday in December (or was it early January?) with the freak storm where the Philly area got 9 inches and no one else got squat......throw that out and NYC through Boston is equal to Philly this year.....south of Philly isnt even close in snowtotals
