Good/Bad news: GFS still showing warmth after April 30th and big warmth after May 4th.

Bad/Good news: Euro consistent in showing it stays cool into May

Reminder these aren't the max or mins but latest Euro12z says temps after today struggle to get past 50s next 10 days. Normal = 60-64°

See the 16.9° for 2pm today here.. That's 62.4°F and we did hit mid 60s today so it's sometimes close to the max/mins but it's the projected temp for that specific hour.

Looks lie Friday morning is the coldest.

Shoot, had to check the loop as I just checked the data above. (my goto quick view of what the latest showed) Nice catch on the rainless period and no big pressure drops..

Euro has it exiting Florida and staying waay out in the Ocean. Still early but not a consistent threat.

Wish I saved this yesterday. Damn. Check out the big spin NW of us. Awesome. That big blob of snow is Canada getting a fresh snowpack and maybe adding onto it in the coming days too.

You can see snow showers entering NY, PA and New England this evening and tomorrow.

Speaking of PA..

Speaking of Canada.

2.26 inches of rain since Monday at Hartford's Brainard Airport...at least if I'm reading the 3-day history charts right at noaa(dot)gov. Amazing that we needed that! I check the UNL Drought Monitor charts each Thursday. That yellow "Abnormally Dry" coloring would have likely been over Hartford County if we didn't get that rain.

As for weather(dot)com and my zip code (New Britain 06052), is there anyway to know where their observation stations are? As stated above, noaa(dot)gov defaults New Britain to Brainard, sometimes to Bradley Airport if that's not available.

End of April or November. Awesome snow coverage this morning!

Many folks I'm sure surprised. Then again.. just a normal scene lately. These are Wind Chills. Feels like 22° in Binghamton with light snow.

Snow bands moving SouthEast.

Not everyone reports totals. Try this link. A PDF file that's huge. Will have to zoom in and remember to change the date in the link. You'll see some reports from coop stations too.

Saw some graupel falling at times. Not sleet, not snow. Fluffy pellets.

Radar Loop mid morning. Awesome. Bet you Litchfield hills are seeing snow showers.
