Why didn’t you post the poll here on the Connecticut Forum?

Of course you are getting those results. That forum tends to run more conservative.

Also notice none of those voting to neither stock or display it (not sure how you could display it if you don’t stock it) are from Connecticut. Wonder where they live? Care to guess? Jay

I posted it there as I wanted a diverse pool answering it. People from 50 states visit that section. 13% answering are from Ct, and we are just 1.2% of the US population.

The ones that do, can educate their children on these matters in the privacy of their own home. Keep this out of the schools and focus on reading. writing and arithmetic.
The poll on this I added in the politics thread affirms your post here in sentiment, in terms of the Ct subset answering being the outliers in the results.

The selectman is not for it being removed from stock, either. I also prefer his position, stock it, do not display it. Just 3 in 8 Ct residents want it both stocked and displayed as of 6 am 3-23, just 5 of 46 overall take that pov.

The politics board on city data is a right wing cesspool. If you think that’s a fair representation of the opinions of people of Connecticut, IDK what to tell you.

Lol. You're kidding, right? You put a poll in the "Politics" section of CD and are now trying to gaslight us into believing it's representative of the country or Connecticut?

You need to go somewhere were people are less apt to think critically--- Try Alabama.

You guys are being polite. It gets pretty bad over there at times and this poll kind of proves it. I’ve avoided that forum for years because of that. I agree it hardly is representative of what our country thinks. Jay

Not to mention, the question isn’t even properly reflective of either the book or the debate on this page. The poll question says it is a “gender-fluid book” that is “aimed” at 4 year olds. The book is about pronouns- not being gender fluid. And the book has a recommended age range of 4-8 years old. It is not targeted or aimed at four year olds.

Ct is amongst the most left wing states in the USA. So, a cross section of the nation will almost always be more moderate than Ct.

However, just 3 in 8 Ct residents answered that they want it stocked and displayed. 5 in 8 wisely disapproved of that radical stance.

Outside of Portland, Or, the Bay Area, and Cambridge, there is no left wing in this country - at least compared to other Western Democracies. That’s just a fact.

And there is absolutely nothing meaningful to be gleaned from a responses in a poorly worded poll on a highly biased internet board.

But you know that already , don’t you?
