How many people, receiving poor service, blame everyone in that service?

I wouldn't want the job because if you screw up you are pilloried.

Then, if you shoot some kid after he shoots at you, is a known gang member wearing an ankle bracelet for gun crimes....you get pilloried because his relatives throw themselves in front of the news cameras about how he was out just buying a sandwich and was unarmed and was shot in the back.

These threads really do read like the racist memes.

Cop A is a jerk and illegally targets some black guy for driving a BMW blah blah blah.

ALL COPS ARE THIS WAY becomes the meme.

Start thread after thread around here about how some black guy did ABC and you are just a stormfront instigator. (and rightfully so)

Changes need to be made but the meme of blaming all cops for the bad actions of some is really getting out of hand.

There are more than 900,000 police officers in the USA. It would be as rediculous to say all police are bad (the so obvious theme being presented by the pile on posters ) as it would to say any other group of people are all bad based on the misdeeds of a few. Watch the names of the posters doing this. All the same over and over again.

Give one example of where the above situation has ever happened even once. Few if any are protesting police shooting people who shot at them. They are protesting unarmed people being shot. Big difference. So your analogy is a big FAIL.

You can still support the police, yet want them to be held accountable when they screw up. This isn't rocket science, but you have to know something.

When I see the first video of a person being executed by one of these "bad apples", and good apples come running and slap handcuffs on the bad apple right on the spot, and start reading him his Miranda Rights. I'll say. damn that was just a bad apple.

But I never see that. All I see is gutless coward cops lying and covering up for each other. A cop is not a good cop, just because he didn't pull the trigger, and was only part of the cover up.

But that isn't what is going on here is it? If you want better policing then doesn't it make sense to demand better hiring and better policies and procesures? Why do the same people dredge up any story they can find and then dwmonize the police as a whole (come on, that is what is going on) rather than discuss the practicea of those elected and appointed officials responsible for police operations? Why is it that any attempt to talk about the root causes always met with more anti-police rhetoric? You don't see that? Bad cops? Deal with them. Blanket ideas that all cops are bad? Really? If you don't see that is what is going on then you've bought in hook line and sinker.

Please take a look at this video, and tell me which of the cops are the good cops. This is not a trick. Nobody took all the bad apples in that county, and put them together in that one place. So we could say, see they are all bad. No, this is just a random sampling of the cops in that county, who happened to be in that spot and thought they were not being filmed. So they were just being themselves, and it appears to show that 100% of them are bad.
