I see the enthusiasm that is being created by Bernie Sanders as a sign that this is happening, everyday more people are waking up.

As Sanders says he cannot do it alone, we need a movement that movement was started by the Occupy Movement which got the conversation started and people involved

And now well over 100,000 people are going to descend on our nation's capital in support of Revolution.

I remember Occupy The precautions taken this time were modeled off of what happened during Occupy. I think a lot more people were prepared to document everything this go round. I walked out of my financial firm during Occupy and helped start things in my community.

Black people are organizing, but its tough to get our message out because of the media. The good thing is, these people aren't giving up and if it comes down to us supporting 1 or 2 outlets, and ditching the rest, that's what we'll do.

If its all about money, we'll make it work to our advantage.

One of the changes now, at least within the minority community (mostly black), is that we have a system of checks and balances. Someone just can't pop up out of thin air and say they're the leader of The Movement. The media has tried with its plants (Deray McKesson, Black Lives Matter, Shaun King), but its been unsuccessful so far.

There's a big difference between capitalism, as an economic theory, and American capitalism. In theory capitalism doesn't use lawyers and the government to steal money. American capitalism does that.

It's like the difference between socialism and communist dictators. When a Republican hears "socialism" they equate it with communist dictators. When they hear capitalism they're blind to American capitalism but just hear it as an economic theory that's much better than a communist dictatorship. Their blindness and deafness causes such arguments to go in circles forever.

This is about "Current" Events. The event being this hedge fund manager price gouging on something he didn't even create or innovate.

The related topics being discussed are relevant to the current topic and the gross display of "American Capitalism" that eok so elegantly explained.

The latter discussion belongs in another sub-forum.

Yep, this is crony capitalism right here.

What good is establishing a monopoly if you do not price gouge. This bastard should be charged with premeditated murder and treated accordingly.
