Obviously the kid has psychiatric problems, compounded by drug and alcohol abuse. I just thought he'd be further along in his rehab (and not still in a rehab center detoxing since the mac and cheese incident happened in October).
Another case of "affluenza". his parents should send him to a military school, not rehab. he needs his arse kicked.

Actually the 9 minutes and 7 seconds he got is more fame than he deserved.

Since this is the third time the little squid has been arrested for being a drunken butthead within the past few months, I seriously doubt that the judge will cut him any slack. He should be sentenced to working at the Student Union for the rest of the school year as a bus boy or sweeping and mopping up.

Tough break for a good kid.

I hope a judge goes easy on him, don't want to ruin is bright future.

Rich brat, no doubt. Community service might do him a world of good. Let rich boy mingle with the less fortunate on the other side of the tracks.

Well, jazzcat is correct. You'd never see a foreign student behaving this way. 100% of the youths I saw arrested during my six years at university were white, North American males. In fairness, there weren't a lot of black people living in my town. Lots of immigrants and foreign students though.
