Obviously the kid has psychiatric problems, compounded by drug and alcohol abuse. I just thought he'd be further along in his rehab (and not still in a rehab center detoxing since the mac and cheese incident happened in October).
Another case of "affluenza". his parents should send him to a military school, not rehab. he needs his arse kicked.
This moron got his 9 minutes- 7 seconds of internet fame, which is 8 minutes more than he deserved. His parents might want to reconsider the amount of money they're pouring into his education.

Since this is the third time the little squid has been arrested for being a drunken butthead within the past few months, I seriously doubt that the judge will cut him any slack. He should be sentenced to working at the Student Union for the rest of the school year as a bus boy or sweeping and mopping up.
Acting the way he does, my guess is that his parents think he's the perfect little angel and are probably putting the blame on the school. But, that's just a guess.
Well, jazzcat is correct. You'd never see a foreign student behaving this way. 100% of the youths I saw arrested during my six years at university were white, North American males. In fairness, there weren't a lot of black people living in my town. Lots of immigrants and foreign students though.
