What do you guys do other than hang around the pool or stay inside with AC and watch TV?

Honestly, when it's this hot (ie, even the swimming pool is too warm to be refreshing)....stay inside! Hang at home, or enjoy the AC at the movies, mall, or museums.

We're almost through it. Temps should be much better in 3-4 more weeks, when it will actually cool off at night even if daytime temps are still in the 90's.

We went to Home Depot (twice), REI, CVS, and my boyfriend put numbers on the front of the house (it had none) and I tackled the restoration of a vintage tile floor with vinegar and a wire brush. Now we're about to go to Central Market then off to his parents' place for dinner.

It's so HOT!

As I was watering tonight I thought the same, in about a month the weather will be much more pleasant.

1. Go to a baseball game or Cowboys game.

2. Go to the Dallas World Aquarium.

3. Have a party for city-data forumers.

It's to hot to do anything. I purchased a new boat a month ago and still have not put it in the water. It is simply to hot for any outdoor activities.

We went shopping @ Parklane, walked around Uptown, Turtle Creek and Katy Trail 8 miles this afternoon, it's hot! But I've lived in Perth Australia, Singapore, and Houston, so I'm kind of ok with the heat.

This right here is the #1 reason we're trying to get out of DFW and Texas. What good is summer when you spend 90% of your time indoors?

Go to the pool? No thanks. By this time of year the water is 80 degrees. It's like going from the heat to a warm bath.

I spent an hour mowing my yard and I came into the house looking like I'd done 20 laps in a swimming pool with my t-shirt on. The climate here buh-lows.

Two Sundays ago I watched FC Dallas beat the Philadelphia Union! 3 to 1! Most FC Dallas games are on Saturday, though.

This most recent Sunday I stayed inside.
