That's what I call Texas fall...when it gets so hot it looks like fall because everything is just dying.

You get bugs about 10 months out of the year, I get bitten in November and February at my fire pit.
What?

Well, we’re in an extreme to severe drought across the area. Some trees have ways to conserve energy during droughts. I know blad cypress trees turn brown in drought conditions and will turn back green when adequate rain has fallen.

Or worse getting bitten by a mosquito on Christmas! I can't think of anything more unfestive than that!

You're not kidding.

We use a mosquito treatment in our yard so we are never bitten. Prior to that, we did have a problem because we live across the street from a creek and OH MY GOSH. We couldn't even sit on the patio without being eaten alive for about 9 months out of the year!

Is the mosquito treatment you use safe if you have dogs? Who/what did you use, if I may ask?
