Richardson temp says 36C. I went to pick up lunch and it felt like 40+.

Man its tough! At least there should be a mild shower here and there to keep a lid on this. But wasn't last year hotter than this?

When i first landed in Dallas last year, it was face burning hot. This year i have faced only 2-3 days of such heat.

But give me snow any day!

What's so horrible and unfair is that east of the Mississippi R, they're getting TOO MUCH rain, and it doesn't look to be ending anytime soon. What would make a weather pattern just park itself like that? Do the upper level winds (that steer weather systems) not blow during the summer?

And heat with humidity that makes it feel like you're walking outside into a giant wet stifling blanket!

You're a sick, sick person. Hell, you're probably wishing we were getting those 115+ temps they had in NV and AZ. Then again, IIRC you like golf, so that's already evidence of a character flaw.

(I know, "so, why did you move here if you hate the heat?" I was BRIBED! But on days like this, apparently not quite enough. )

If you don't like it just stay inside for 2-3 months and enjoy the other 9 months.

Usually I fly out to Elsewhere for most of the summer. Yes, I fly. I like flying. Yes, I'm a bit sick in the head as well!

We have some rain predicted for tomorrow! Finally! And more during the end of the month!

I wish I can send you the 10" of Rain we had here in Raleigh last month, Yes! 10" in just 1 month. I cannot, and most people cannot recall a rainier spring and now summer in the Southeast and mid-atlantic in recent memory. I honestly don't want to see any rain until September. All my summer pool and cookout plans have been washouts literally.

Hopefully some tropical systems will make there way into central Texas.

What I wouldn't give for some cooling rain and some clouds to block the sun for a while. I didn't realize how much I hated the heat until I moved here.
